Identification of the item and traceability
The item is identified by the Item code, which is available on the website or the invoice.
The alphanumeric ID of the product code added to the invoice allow the item to be identified correctly.
For the product traceability, if not specified on the item itself with a code preceded by the word “Lot:”, the product code and date of the sale document will apply.
Warnings/safety information
The safety information includes instructions and warnings which are essential for safe usage of the product.
Each item has been designed solely for competitive/sporting purposes (racing – use on the track).
Zetasassi® Srl declines any liability deriving from non-specific usage.
Our products must be installed and assembled by specialised, professional personnel (namely mechanics and staff that provide assistance on the track, and/or preparation work on racing motorcycles).
All products are supplied with the necessary fastening hardware for correct assembly. Wherever possible, products that need to be put together to create the final product are pre-assembled to prevent assembly errors.
For products that require assembly with multiple parts to make up the final product, exploded drawings are available on our website, shop.zetasassi.net, on the product page under the Drawing/Download section. These can be used to ensure correct assembly (even if pre-assembled).
For products requiring assembly with multiple components (e.g., foot pegs), if the recommended tightening torques for screws, bolts and nuts are not provided (either in the packaging or on the website), standard tightening torques for 8.8-grade steel fasteners must be used.
For products and/or product components that need to be mounted straight onto the vehicle (e.g., engine covers, rearsets, nut covers, foot peg brackets), please follow the tightening specifications provided by the vehicle manufacturer.
ALWAYS CHECK ALL THE PARTS ARE TIGHTENED BEFORE USING.
Vehicles are subject to vibration, so it will be necessary to check all the tightenings of the products as as indicated by the manufacturer in the machinery manual during routine maintenance, standard machinery checks, and/or whenever extraordinary maintenance is carried out.
If the products are subjected to any blows and/or wear and tear, due to falls from the vehicle and/or improper maintenance and/or incorrect transportation, they may be damaged and should no longer be used.
If the products are modified and/or incorrectly assembled, they may be damaged and should no longer be used.
Zetasassi® Srl declines any liability resulting from use of products that are ruined, worn, modified, incorrectly tightened and/or which have not been assembled properly.
Zetasassi® Racing Half-handlebars
are sold with tightening instructions for both the pipe clamp and the clamp to be mounted on the fork covers/stanchions of the vehicle.
As regards the tightening torques of the clamps on the fork stanchions (only if the original clamp has the same characteristics identifiable by two screws/bolts with an M6x1 pitch), it is also possible to follow the vehicle manufacturer's instructions; for tightening the clamp that blocks the handlebar tube, please follow the tightening instructions.
IMPORTANT:
Zetasassi® Racing half-handlebars and foot pegs have been designed and built to be exceptionally robust; however this does not mean they can’t be broken or weakened by a fall.
So even if there are no particular breaks/weakening/marks that indicate a problem, they must no longer be used.
Ergal fastening hardware:
The hardware parts manufactured by Zetasassi® Srl cannot be used for the structural parts of the vehicle, such as: handlebar clamps, brake pump clamps, brake discs, mounts for foot pegs/fuel tanks/frames, etc.
Zetasassi® fastening hardware must be used with the tightening specifications available on the website and on the product pages, and on data sheets, where available, to identify the proper sizing.
IMPORTANT:
Metal hardware parts manufactured by Zetasassi® Srl cannot be used for the structural parts of the vehicle
Quick throttle sleeves:
The quick throttle sleeves made by Zetasassi® Srl do not require either a change of throttle cables or any adjustments different from the original ones on the throttle bodies.
IMPORTANT:
BEFORE USING THE QUICK THROTTLE SLEEVE, PLEASE ENSURE THE THROTTLE RETURNS PROPERLY IN ALL ANGLES OF THE VEHICLE'S STEERING RANGE.
Please note:
Warning – All of the products available on the shop.zetasassi.net website are unsuitable for individuals under 18 years of age. Keep out of reach of children. Installation must only be carried out by professional personnel specialised in preparing racing motorcycles. Do not use on the road.
