Who we are …
...first of all, we’re all bikers!... ok, to tell the truth not absolutely all of us, the two real bikers, however, are “Papà Giuseppe” and his son Lorenzo… plus a few crazy relatives (ok, more than a few); the rest of the “crew” all have a good bit of love for bikes and bikers though they spend most of their time “in the paddock” and all are blessed with the utmost amount of patience, which they certainly need.
Many years ago, back in the 70s, or thereabouts, “Papà Giuseppe” decided to establish PMZ-SASSI, now ZETASASSI® Srl, a company created to develop the image and sales in the world of products designed and produced by the historical lathing workshop owned by his family. “Papà Giuseppe” is still the main pillar of the company and its “Archimedes” when it comes to the numerous mechanical designs (chain tensioners, belt tensioners, tensioners, torque and axial limiters, the design and construction of automatic machines, etc.).
The Sassi family grew alongside the company and in those early years, Lorenzo was born. Now he’s known around the paddocks as a guy who makes coffee with grappa, grills salami and strums the guitar, and, oh yes, we mustn’t forget!......races motorcycles …
ZETASASSI® Racing Components started out in the mid-90s as the realization of Lorenzo’s dream – not of coffee with grappa but of pure passion for a world of screaming engines, speed trials, week-ends in the paddock, the strong, heady aroma of motor oil and gasoline.... but above all of the people of live in their midst.
